Yes, NW. We are back. After months of being idle, we have made our return! This new generation of NW will be amazing, I can assure you. We had an event today, and let me just say; WE OWNED. Nice job, NW. Here are pictures of this event:

After seeing SMAC’s Small Top Ten, with armies in it averaging 3, I know we will be able to easily be in it with something like an unscheduled event. So just be on chat and we’ll have a few events. No slacking off anymore.

Sorry about the site downtime over the past week and a half or so. It was meant to be down as I tested a few things for about a day. I had three backups made to restore everything but my two failed so I went to my host. They for some reason had nothing but corrupted backups so we lost everything that I had. Sorry guys :/

But I guess there’s just nowhere to go but up from here! xD

I have the ranks as of January 28th on the site. ~~Unfortunately there was a hiccup and I have to fix it before they are available to be seen, but trust me, they are there.~~ Also, there is a full copy of the site at http://web.archive.org/web/20101031041329/http://nwarmy.com/ranks/ (thanks for the tip, someone who said this below!). If anyone wants to start pulling anything important off it speak now or forever hold your peace.

Also, I know the site is slow and laggy, I realize this. It’s bothering me too. I’m working on optimizing it as much as possible but it’s kinda hard to work it in around school and such. So for now, deal with a slower site.

The site is now optimized and running smoothly for the moment! That’s not to say that it won’t have issues later on as more users start showing back up, but it’s good for now. Also, if you are supposed to have site access, message me on Xat or leave a comment below (where I will verify your identity on Xat).
